About the company
AirGym Art Company is a unique artistic ensemble that has enriched the Czech contemporary circus scene since 2018 with its original fusion of aerial acrobatics and theatre. Our main domain is aerial acrobatics and flying techniques, which we bring both to theatre stages and open-air spaces. Each performance is carefully crafted to appeal to audiences of all ages.
Our productions regularly entertain audiences at festivals across the Czech Republic as well as in established Prague theatres. In our shows, we combine precise acrobatics with storytelling that draws the audience into a world of emotions and narratives.
We approach every project as something unique. We believe that art must constantly push boundaries and expand possibilities, which is why we pour maximum creativity, enthusiasm, and expertise into each of our productions. Another key branch of AirGym is show rigging. Show rigging, or human rigging, involves suspending performers for acrobatics or flying effects. We provide this not only for our own productions but also for several established theatres throughout the Czech Republic. We have been engaged in this work since 2015 and are among the most experienced professionals in this field in the country.
