Showcase 2026

The Czech Contemporary Circus Association presents the 2nd edition of the Contemporary Circus Showcase — a single day to experience the atmosphere of contemporary circus and get to know the Czech artistic scene, with both finished and work-in-progress projects and productions.

The Czech Contemporary Circus Association, in collaboration with the Letní Letná International Contemporary Circus and Theatre Festival, presents the Contemporary Circus Showcase on Wednesday 26 August in Letná Park, Prague.

This year we focus on presenting projects and companies that are currently looking to offer their productions to presenters across the Czech Republic, both in major cities and in the regions. We are also opening this opportunity to Slovakia, in order to support touring in the regions.

For those of you who put together the programmes of city festivities, festivals, theatres and regional events, this is a chance to discover new work, meet the artists in person and draw inspiration for your own programming.

The presentation will be held in czech language, but the web page and printed material in advance in both czech and english.

What it’s about

The Contemporary Circus Showcase is a single afternoon during which we present Czech contemporary circus projects and productions in one place — from finished shows to work in progress. For those of you who put together the programmes of city festivities, festivals, theatres and regional events, this is a chance to discover new work, meet the artists in person and draw inspiration for your own programming. After the presentations, there will be time for informal networking and discussion.
For Showcase participants, the Letní Letná festival will also offer one ticket to its evening international programme at a 50% discount. We trust that an international contemporary circus spectacle will be a welcome complement to the presentation of Czech work.
