Let the body speak!
Sometimes the body says more than words, through an exhale, a whisper, a tension trembling beneath the skin. Frequency is a circus performance that lets the body tell the story. What happens when what we see is only a shadow of what truly unfolds within? Invisible threads between body, mind, and technology merge here into a single rhythm, the heartbeat that conducts lights and sounds like an orchestra that never falls silent.

Company Information
Bětka Tichá began her artistic journey as a dancer at the Duncan Centre Dance Conservatory in Prague. She later entered the Czech contemporary circus community and discovered her main discipline: vertical rope. She graduated with this circus specialization from Codarts – University of the Arts in the Netherlands in 2020.
Bětka is currently exploring the conceptual possibilities of aerial acrobatics, floor acrobatics, juggling, and handbalancing. She continuously develops her artistic techniques and methods in contemporary circus through her own creative work and various masterclasses, for example with Sven Damey, Sylvain Cousin, or Lucho Smit.
As a performer, she has contributed to several projects: Hansel and Gretel by Matěj Forman, Kid by Francesco Sgró, Li(n)es by Daniel Gulk, Rezervace by Eliška Brtnická, and others.
She is the co-founder of Feel the Universe Circus Company and both organizer and performer of the project Laboratorium 2016.
