About the Program
The Teacrobat project is the story of a big circus dream, and about having your own big circus tent.
This family acrobatic cooking show in its own big tent is a celebration of both traditional and new circus. Teacrobat is a humorous solo performance in an acrobat’s kitchen, where you are invited to enjoy a hearty serving of entertainment and fragrant gingerbread. The artist has equipped his arena with a sideboard, a pantry, a table and chairs, and he even keeps fit in the midst of it all! He exercises, stretches, balances with objects, and overcomes differences in height with ease and playfulness. The generous host offers a rich palette of circus arts, serving up delicacies in the form of performances while carrying out everyday activities, which include preparing refreshments. In the performance, the main and only hero not only juggles with a wooden spoon and tea cups, but also proves himself to be an excellent equilibrist, a phenomenal handstand artist, and a charming clown.
Michal Mudrák had a tent custom-made for him, and not only can he set it up, but he also performs the entire show, provides the sound and lighting. Then he packs up, takes it down and moves on… He won the Den Danske Cirkuspris award in Denmark.
