FysioART and MOVE Ostrava – Wild Geese
When and Where
November 15th at 7 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Varnsdorf Municipal Theater as part of Festival Vítr z hor. (Wind from Mountains Festiva)
About the Program
Do I Belong to the Landscape? And to the Flock?
A story between heaven and earth — about freedom, courage, and friendship.
A movement-based theatre performance combining floor acrobatics, contemporary dance, and object theatre. The aim of the piece is to highlight the relationship between humans and nature — the search for a mutually beneficial connection between the two.
The performance draws inspiration from Arctic sagas and Czech fairy tales, as well as from the experience of living in nature and the presence of trees.
“We wished to spread our wings and fly so high that the human eye could barely see us,
where words fade and only the wind can be heard.
We wished to become brave heroes and face fear and challenges with all the courage we have.
And to never abandon one another.
We wished to find a safe nest and stand by each other, no matter what happens.
One spring morning, on our long journey north, we awoke with goose wings.”
For audiences aged six and up, language-free.
Presented by FysioART and MOVE Ostrava.
The performance was created during an artistic residency at the Varnsdorf Municipal Theatre.
