Abstract
Wander is a project in the genre of physical theatre and contemporary circus, inspired by landscape, soil, natural diversity, and interconnectedness. This performance is being created for outdoor presentations as well as future indoor staging. Its themes explore the relationship between humans and the land, from both biological and social perspectives. Wander brings natural and social diversity into dialogue, along with the stability of the systems connected to them. It also seeks a sustainable approach to creation and touring, the show travels on foot and by public transport, and can be performed without the need for electricity.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the State Fund for Culture of the Czech Republic, Cirqueon, Kulturní Plantáže Blatná, and Žižkostel.
Technical requirements
The project is intended for outdoor and indoor performances. All that is needed is the ability to play music and a space measuring approximately 8x8m with a height of at least 5m.

Information about the company
Helena and Jakub Urban are synchonized duo of theatre and contemporary circus creators , and also partners in real life. After studying Nonverbal Theatre at HAMU, they joined forces and began adding a circus component to their theatre work, focusing on partner acrobatics. They now have seven years of independent creation behind them under the name Koťátko zkázy (“Kitten of Doom”), along with numerous collaborations with ensembles across the Czech Republic and abroad.
Their new long-term project is Wander.
