Premiere: May 27, 2026, in front of the Mlejn Cultural Center in Prague
About the show
Wander is a contemporary circus performance about the landscape, the land, and the people within it. It explores the inner connections both within nature and among people. It delves into the depths; otherwise it takes a humorous approach. Two acrobats, joined by a team from the Czech Republic, Finland, Australia, and Germany, have created a unique show that doesn’t begin with the start of the performance, but rather journeys through the landscape on foot and by public transportation. Wander is an expedition, a trip, a hike. Two people, two backpacks, and plenty of acrobatics.

About the company
Ondřej Holba, Jakub Urban, and Helena Urban are three artists working at the fascinating intersection of theater, contemporary circus and pantomime. With a healthy dose of humor and poetry, they explore important and intriguing themes in theater, street theater, and site-specific projects. They studied at the Department of Nonverbal Theater/Pantomime at HAMU in Prague and have been creating works on the independent scene ever since.
Ondřej Holba focuses on directing and dramaturgy; he is a member of the Cirqueon Artistic Council and the board of directors of the New Circus Association.
Jakub Urban and Helena Urban work under the banner of Wander Project; they have five original productions to their credit under the Koťátko zkázy brand, totaling roughly one hundred performances throughout the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. With their latest project, *Třeba to vyjde*, they were part of the prestigious international festival in Paderborn, Germany, last year. Last year, together with Mates Petrák, they presented the popular show *Sjen*.
