About company

Tichá malina is a production platform that brings together a variety of artistic and production projects under one roof.

After years of collaborating on various artistic projects and organizing events, its founders decided to give their efforts a unified structure. The establishment of the Tichá malina z. s. association is thus a logical outcome of many years of artistic and production work.

In addition to artistic production, Tichá malina is also actively involved in education in the field of aerial acrobatics. It regularly organizes courses and hosts the international event, Prague Aerial Convention.

Bětka Tichá: An acrobat, performer and instructor from the Czech Republic who is dedicated to the circus arts. Before discovering her passion for aerial acrobatics, she studied at the Duncan Center Conservatory in Prague. In 2020, she graduated from Codarts – University of the Arts in the Netherlands with a degree in vertical rope and also studied at ICCAR (International Circus Center for Artistic Research) in Spain.

Jonatan Vnouček: An actor, clown, and lighting designer who has long been dedicated to physical comedy and creating original outdoor performances for families with children.

Michaela Stará: A dancer, performer, and graduate of the Department of Nonverbal Theater at HAMU. As a creator, she has produced solo projects as well as family-friendly productions as part of the duo Johnny & Jenny. She has collaborated with Czech and international troupes and has performed on the international stage at events including the Dubai Expo, the Krystallpalast variety theater in Leipzig and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Na Showcase 2026 představí

Frekvence – Frekvence is a solo performance by Alžběta (Bětka) Tichá. It combines aerial acrobatics and physical theater with technologies that monitor vital signs, with the performer’s current heart rate being translated in real time into the surrounding sound and lighting.

Od vedle! – A solo dance-theater performance loosely inspired by life in a small prefab apartment.

Pedáál – Two acrobats, Mattia Comisso and Bětka Tichá, passionate about anything with two wheels, are at the start of their adventurous ride, during which they blend Italian and Czech cycling traditions.

On the Arena – A story set in the world of an unconventional but increasingly popular sport—hobby horsing

To the Window (WIP) – A visually poetic performance straddling the boundaries of street theater, dance and contemporary circus.
