Premiere: November 26, 2024, Prague
Abstract
The Uncertainty Principle is a contemporary circus performance inspired by the fascinating phenomena of quantum physics, such as quantum teleportation, superposition, and wave–particle duality. If you’re not entirely sure what these terms mean, don’t worry, neither are we.
On stage, an absurd atmosphere emerges, blending the world of a school classroom with that of a scientific laboratory. Two jugglers, an acrobat, and a dancer explore quantum physics through the lenses of circus disciplines, dance, and new magic. They play with the paradoxes of the quantum universe, seemingly break the laws of physics, and create unexpected situations. In this world where art merges with science and science with art, everything is possible, except predictability.
