Cirk La Putyka is one of the leading professional theatre, new circus companies in the Czech Republic and Europe. Its projects are built on the foundations and principles of circus arts, which serve not only as a core creative element but also as a gateway for connecting and combining other genres and for crossing artistic boundaries. Over the years, the company has developed its own distinctive style at the intersection of new circus and theatre.
The work of Cirk La Putyka is diverse in genre and culturally open, every project is completely different. The aim is to create unique, deeply personal works into which company members pour themselves, their attitudes and their experiences, while breaking down prejudices and boundaries between genres and worlds.
