About the company
AirGym Art Company is a Czech contemporary circus troupe focused on original works that combine aerial acrobatics, physical theater and flying techniques. In its productions, the company uses aerial acrobatics as an integral part of theatrical storytelling and explores new possibilities for its use on stage.
In addition to its own productions, the company also creates site-specific projects and performances for unconventional venues. Their work draws on contemporary circus and physical theater and focuses on original projects for theaters and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Their activities also include the technical setup of rigging systems, aerial effects for theater and cultural projects. The development of aerial acrobatics through workshops and educational activities.
At Showcase 2026, they will present
The Objects (2026) — Four unique characters meet on Midsummer’s Night and, through mysterious objects, discover a world full of fantasy, humor and unexpected meanings. Aerial acrobatics breathe new life into seemingly ordinary objects and invite the audience to see the world through different eyes.
Vertige (2026) – A story about a creative mind that never rests. Through aerial acrobatics and contemporary circus, it captures moments of inspiration, flow, crises of creation and the vertigo of uncertainty and risk.

Opportunities to stage their own productions at theaters, festivals, and other cultural events in the Czech Republic and abroad. In addition to touring their existing productions, they are also open to co-productions, residencies and the creation of site-specific projects.
