Asociace nového cirkusu in cooperation with International festival of contemporary circus and theatre Letní Letná is organising the Contemporary Circus Showcase, taking place on Saturday, 30 August 2025, in Letná Park, Prague.
The showcase is a presentation of contemporary circus artistic projects and productions and is open to Czech and Slovak professional artists and companies.
The showcased artists and projects will be selected through an open call, in collaboration with the event’s dramaturgical board.
The selected projects and the detailed programme will be announced at the end of May 2025.
Registration is open to dramaturgs, venue programmers, festival representatives and other professionals.

The programme will be further specified, but participants can already look forward to:
- a short introductory talk on “What Is Contemporary Circus”
- presentations of artists and projects in two formats:
- pitching sessions (6-minute presentations supported by video),
- speed dating (short table-based presentations)
- several performative excerpts presented within a curated evening programme
- networking opportunities
- an overview of outstanding contemporary circus projects

The International Festival of Contemporary Circus and Theatre Letní Letná is a Prague-based festival that condenses nearly three weeks of the best Czech and international contemporary circus into a single programme. It is the only festival of its kind and scale in the Czech Republic and the surrounding region.
